Our History, Our Future

SwaggerDap is currently the main project of Dwyuza, LLC which was founded October 2007 by John Dwyer and Jemar Souza. However, the ideas that eventually became the SwaggerDap concept were initially discovered in 2006 during a casual conversation between Jemar and his friend Jordan Stewart, founder of the Intelligent Vision League.

Jordan and Jemar's vision of the concept started to go into different directions. However, they decided to test their ideas at their school's business plan competitions. They continued to update each other on their research and ideas in an effort to reach a common ground.

Unfortunately, the chances grew slimmer as Jordan believed more in a web-based market research/focus group tool for large brands while Jemar envisioned a simpler social networking website for smaller and independent brands. In the end they decided to just shoot for their separate visions while of course maintaining their friendship and professional relationship.

Jemar decided to form a team and brought John onboard based on their common admiration for Streetwear culture and similar music tastes (minus R&B). As their relationship grew stronger (no homo) and their vision of SwaggerDap became identical, they decided to form Dwyuza LLC and the rest will become history.
